The current revision of the article “Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce)” in the work “EU Law – Handbook for Austrian Legal Practice” was written by Dr. Bernhard Tonninger and Dr. Markus Albrecht, who are responsible for the legal area of e-commerce in our law firm.

In addition to e-commerce law, Dr. Bernhard Tonninger and Dr. Markus Albrecht advise in particular in the areas of unfair competition law, intellectual property law (trademark and design law) and copyright law.

Book Price Fixing Act 2023

In the 11/2022 issue of the magazine “sortimenterbrief”, Dr. Bernhard Tonninger is interviewed about the amendment to the Book Price Fixing Act. Among other things, he also comments on the ministerial draft, which would have unexpectedly provided for a 20% library discount – unacceptable for the book industry – but which was ultimately prevented from becoming law, not least thanks to Dr. Tonninger’s efforts.

Modernization of fixed book prices

In issue 7-8/2022 of the magazine “sortimenterbrief”, Dr. Bernhard Tonninger is interviewed about the amendment to the Book Price Fixing Act. The reader is given a brief insight into the upcoming changes and their background. Dr. Tonninger also discusses the expected date of entry into force of the amendment.
